From my 1st historical classes I have been fascinated by Alexander III as a character. As the Emperor. I read much books dedicated and related to him. It was always rather difficult to separate "a man" and "the Emperor"...But I am starting this thread just to express my vision of Alexander III with the help of the photos. The photos of himself and his family.
(I am mad about all photos of Royalties of the past... I believe that  many of you all  understand such a feeling! )

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Sveta this one is incrediable. I think that is the earliest photo I have ever seen of all four of them. Nixa looks so cute. All the ones you posted of Sacha and family are so great. I hve never seen most of them. What a good idea, Thank you so much.

Ok well here are some of my favorites of him. They could certainly never compare to Sveta's but.... Plus my scanner is horrid, sorry. Anyways here they are in order kinda.

Great thread!!!!!!!!  i have never seen pictures of him as a young man.  are there more pictures of him and his brothers and parents especailly Sergei.  i read somewhere that he alwas sought out Sergei for advice and confort.  mostly i remember Sergei being moe close to K.R. can any one help me.
