Sarushka , it's  indeed the same photo... the one grandduchess_42  posted is  just of a vastly nicer quality ( thanks again grandduchess_42 !   ) and   Anastasia's shark fin hair ribbon wasn't removed! lol!

Was the bow touched out in 1913? If so, how was that possible?

Yes, thank you so much! You definitely solved many questions I have or had, simply because you actually explained it!

But another question, does that mean James Wessex is ahead of his sister as well as the Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie because he is a male?

And lastly, say if Princess Anne was Queen Elizabeth II's only child, would she ascend the throne upon her mother's death?

Ah, I figured. I was only confused because I know that in England a girl-child may also rule (obviously). So does that mean when they were children, though Anne was older, the succession went as Charles, Andrew, Anne?

That being said also, I am just as confused because Andrew's children are also women, yet they still trump Anne in the succession. Why?

I am terribly puzzled. Anne, the Princess Royal was once 4th in line to the throne, after Prince Charles and then his sons, William and Harry. So why did she plummet to 10th place after the birth of Prince Andrew's daughters, Eugenie and Beatrice?

Shouldn't she technically still be in front of Andrew, Beatrice, and Eugenie, since she is the eldest sibling after Prince Charles?

I have always wondered, since she truly was not the Grand Duchess, how did she know such facts? Thanks for semi-clearing this up. I can't wait to read this book.

All the inaccuracies in this album have always maddened me to no end....I'm glad others have been able to prove them false. It was hard enough for me to believe Lovell's book on Anastasia, and ALL his credibility went right out the window for 2 reasons: labeling Maria as Anastasia, and for saying there was a 5th daughter. Oy vey.

Fancy how Tatiana was the only daughter with dark colorings!

have these remains been interred with the rest of the family in the Saint Peter and St Paul Cathedral on the Fortress Island in St Petersburg?
It would be good to know that the whole family is together.

Not yet, as far as I know. I'm sure they will be together some day. But it might take a while.

This really upsets me to think that they left the youngest children out, seperated from their family after all these years...I hope that it happens. I mean...it's absolutely necessary.

Sorry for go topic off, but in that 1894 diary, Sarushka, Alexandra described her wedding day----something she wore white wedding-dress, what was strange for her(she wore black dresses), because she was depressive, cause many deaths in her family. Am I right?

Of course, come back to topic.  :)

Well she very well couldn't have worn black to her wedding. So many looked down upon the wedding since it was in such close time to Tsa Alexander III's death. And she didn't wear black because she was depressive. It was because mourning black was customary.

Yes, the royal court of the women was post to wear black for a year. I also belive the people took this as one of many "bad omens."

Indeed! Same with Nicky going to the ball held by the French. They all thought because of what happened in the filed...that he shouldnt go and he didn anyways. =[

Quote
Anastasia once wrote in a letter to her father Nicholas II in 1914 "Today I caught father Grigori watching me through my bedroom door that was partially opened, before I was decent, I don't wish to tell mother as it will surley upset her

WOW. Never ever heard that. It shocked me.
