On the real tip now though...The most boring royal IMO is Grand Duchess Xenia of Russia. I don't understand it. How you can be at the center of power, in Russia?! of all places, and be so boring.

Hey, Emeraldeyes... GORMLESS means thick, dumb, stupid, idiotic.(My mum used to call my dad "a gormless ayporth") Ayporth means halfpenny  ;D

Wow thats harsh...but I see more of the Duke in that pic and he really does look gormless at times. That trait came from Prince Andrew. Sarah looks like a bad girl which Eugenia has inherited man shes hot...but anyway I just found out I have been spelling horse wrong for 14 years of my life. :-[

Still laughing over the horse pic..............

I don't think the Kaiser was crowned.  Moreover, abdication changes one's position as head of state.  But abdication does not take away a title.

The Kaiser wasn't crowned, but it was still considered a coronation ceremony. None of the more "new" monarchys crowned their monarch.

She looks very Spanish or maybe more Latin American....IMO the Romanov she resembles most would be Catherine I. I was told that the Grand Duchess was recieved by President Putin were there any pictures taken of the event?

That information is very confusing  ??? I know nothing about the Leuchtenbergs at all. Does anyone have any clearer information on them? I'm completely lost.  :-[

Was Rundale Palace ever used by the Romanovs? This palace is very huge and in the same style as the Russian Imperial Palaces. IMO Rundale is the only palace in eastern Europe outside of Russia that can compete with the Imperial palaces.........
