Tatiana Nicholaievna / Assets
« on: June 03, 2006, 03:36:35 AM »
Did Tatiana have any personal assets?

I'm aware Olga inherited a considerable fortune from Alexander III. What about Tatiana? Was she ever, or did she in fact, ever receive a personal fortune of her own?

Having Fun! / Patronymic of...

Since I noticed there's no thread on patronymics, I decided to create one.  :)

Anyhow, does anyone know the patronymic of Maxim?

The Imperial Family / Royal matches for OTMA
« on: August 10, 2005, 08:18:51 PM »
Olga was 22 when she was killed. We all know that.

The possible match between her and Prince Carol of Romania didn't go through. That was in 1914. She was 19.

I've been wondering something. When were the grand duchesses expected to stop living with their parents? When they got married? When they wanted to?

If anyone knows anything relating to the matter, I'd highly appreciate it if you could post it.

Maria Nicholaievna / About her name; was it Marie or Maria?
« on: July 20, 2005, 05:47:05 PM »
I'm very curious to know how her family called her.

I've seen Marie on various books, but does anyone know what version her family actually used?

Maria Nicholaievna / Who was she closest to?
« on: March 23, 2005, 04:19:27 PM »
I've read that Olga was closest to her father whereas Tatiana was closer to Alexandra.

But who was Maria closest to?

I remember reading something about how she enjoyed taking walks with her father, just like Olga did.

How true is that?

How much was she missing?

I remember reading somewhere that she was only missing a few years. How true is that?
