The site is very lovely :D, have my poem posted without naming me as the author or asking me if you could use it, and I also noticed that you have Holly's anecdotes and memoirs posted word for word. I don't mean to sound rude, but could you possibly site the author of who wrote them, or take it down? I don't mean to sound rude. Thank you.  :)

I hope my post doesn't sound rude or "above" anyone, I apologize if it does...

It doesn't matter if people make plays, write stories, or anything doesn't mean a single thing! Sure, she's big in the media, but that doesn't necessarily mean she's living on in the creator's memories.
The fact is that she was different from her sisters.
I think they were all pretty different from each other.
Someone in speaking to me of the four little girls lately said to me, "Olga has grace, wit, and good looks; Tatiana is a regular beauty; Marie is so sweet-natured, good and obliging, no one could help loving her; but little Anastasie has personal charm beyond any child I ever saw." - M. Eager

Not to disrespect M. Eager, but I think you can say that about a lot of children in the past, that doesn't mean they all live in our memories.
Again, I don't think it matters about how many people write a play about you, if there's movies about you, etc. What should matter is, whether or not one lives on in a person's memory because of their character, not because of how often someone is in the media.

You're not the only one that feels that way, Holly. We are ALL entitled to an opinion- it's a discussion forum, after all.  ;)
And that's just the way society is- look at Paris Hilton. But not everyone is exactly a know it all on this subject. And we didn't know that- not everyone looks at the post and go, "Oh, she MUST have gotten that from someone who saw it." And it still might be good to others.

Yeah that is true Anastasia did have someting that OTM do not have, and I think I know what it is determination and hope. Unlike her the girls did not have as much determination as she did. She had the courage  and never giving up and the personality that many girls did not have during her time she was so unique and famous. OTM are special too, but in a different way that is not as special with Anastasia had a purpose and message to bring to the troubled world.... Holly's website has a special message to Anastasia I am sure that Anastasia would be happy and proud for you Holly for making a website so wonderful and nice dedicated to a life of a girl.

You guys are all doing good work with your websites and such, and I salute you.

But really, what evidence do you have that Anastasia had more "purpose and determination" than her sisters?  Where did she show more courage and "not giving up" than other girls? Of course the whole family showed courage during their imprisonment, but  I'd be interested to see your sources that show Anastasia showing more qualities than the others.

I think your website is great Holly, but I'm agreeing with Jehan.
I think that Anastasia is great, but I wouldn't really say that she's the one who's going to live on in everyone's memories the most. Just because she was different than her other sisters doesn't really make her the greatest and had more courage than the others. Everyone relates differently to the sisters, afterall. Tatiana may be strong in some minds, while Olga or Maria may be a big force with others, no?

It's just another Anna Anderson piece of crap.
That doesn't mean it's not good.
I would love to see this. It's always interesting to me to see people's different perspectives on Anastasia/ Anna Anderson, especially through the arts.
