True and false. I don't like my first name but like my middle and last name.

The person below me is listening to their radio/CD player while they are at their computer.

I see the toolbar but when  I click on it nothing happens. I'm going to back and check my profile just to make sure I didn't accidentally disable them.

I like the new look and layout of the new forum but can someone please  tell me how to enable the smileys and other such features such as colors and italics? I used to be able to just click on a smiley. I don't think I disabled the smileys in my profile.

I've always liked the song even though it is not historically accurate. It was not supposed to be. Boney M. was not attempting to give a history lesson here. The song always makes me want to get up and dance for it's a very catchy tune.

And I do think that a lot of women probably did find Rasputin attractive just as some women today are attracted to "bad boy" types.

I like all the new features it has and like the layout.

But I can't seem to get the smileys to work?

Maria Nicholaievna / Re: Of OTMA, did Maria favor Alix most?
« on: March 22, 2006, 01:13:32 PM »
I've always thoght that Maria looked most like her mother while Olga looked most like her father. Anastasia looks a bit like both of them while Tatiana doesn't really  look a lot  like either of them. I see a bit of her Maria Feodoronva in Tatiana though even though Tatiana was tall while her grandmother was petite.  Like Anastasia Alexei looked like both his parents.

Maybe some of the women back then did find him attractive. Standards of beauty were  somewhat different back then and he realy didn't look much different from other Russian peasants. Maybe they attracted to him because of his image just as some women today are attracted to "bad boys."  Personally I do not find him attractive but admit that he does have arresting eyes. It's spooky almost.  Sometimes in pictures it looks like he is looking directly through you. I think had I lived back then I would have found him frightening.

She was definitely not attracted to him in romantic way since her heart belonged only to Nicky. But I do not think that she found him creepy either. She believed he was the only man in Russia who could help Alexei recover ftom his hemophilia attacks and thus she overlooked his faults.

Having Fun! / Re: The Romanov You Dislike
« on: March 20, 2006, 09:01:45 PM »
If we are talking about any Romanov throughout the entire 300 years of their reign I'd have to add Peter III to my list of least favorites. He was foolish, did not care about Russia or the Russian people, and he treated Catherine so cruelly.
