Thanks, and I have a question about the main page. All I can do is click on the stories at the bottom of the page, is there a way I can access the rest of the site from the main page? I found this board through clicking on a google search. I can't get the main page to reach anything other than the books listed at the bottom.

In Nicholas and Alexandra, there was also a line where Rasputin told Alexandra that Alexei would die if she did not beg for his life like a peasant begging for crust at her door.

Thank you :)

Does it have any added footage or deleted scenes now that it's on DVD?

Rasputin / Rasputin and the gypsies
« on: July 18, 2004, 08:39:57 AM »
I have heard various reports on this. Did he participate in orgys at the gypsy camp on the Neva, or was this only for entertainment? Apparently he was so involved with them that when he was murdered rumors circulated he was with the gypsies and had died during an orgy and thrown into the river. Does anyone know how gypsies came to be in St. Pete and what became of them after the revolution?

What do you have on the relationship between Elizabeth and Wilhelm? Were they ever close to getting married, or did she dislike him all along? Did they speak over the years, and how serious were his attempts to get her out of Russia in the last days? Any info appreciated.

The Final Chapter / Re: Photos at Ipatyev House?

Many years ago, I got a book from the library called "The End of the Romanovs" I forget the author, but it was a Russian name. There were pictures in there that claimed to be taken at the house, but were obviously taken on Alexandra's balcony. The girls looked younger, had long hair and pretty dresses. The author claimed the pictures were rare and taken a couple days before the murders. It's a shame such bogus information made it to publication. When I first saw the book I was still in high school. Imagine if some student were to use that falsehood for a report.

I didn't know it was out on DVD. How can I get one?
