Another portrait of Anna Feodorovna. I've never seen this one before. Does anyone have it in a clearer and bigger version? Any help would be very much appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Natalia Alexeievna.

Wonderful portrait Dru! It's completely new for me. When was it painted?

Another portrait of the beautiful Empress, by Dmitry Evreinov, 1800

This portrait is identified only as Olga, Grossfurstin von Russland in a German site. I thought she looked like Olga Feodorovna so I posted it here. Name of the artist and the date it was painted is not mentioned.

Grand Duchess Elizabeth Feodorovna / Re: Ella by Kaulbach

I was able to find this portrait of Ella and Countess Elizaveta Semeonovna Olsoufieff. It was by Kaulbach and was commissioned by Countess Olsoufieff in 1912. The copy was very small, and anyone who has a bigger picture can post it here. Thanks!

It's a wonderful portrait! Who is the artist and when was it painted?

Interesting indeed. I didn't know she was close to someone from the Austrian court. Now I'm wondering if she ever got to meet the Empress Elisabeth. I read somewhere that during those times they were considered by contemporaries to be the most beautiful women in Europe.

Hello! Does anyone have the original black and white photo of this colored picture of Ella? I've never seen this picture before. She looks stunning in her dress.

A self-portrait of Grand Duchess Alexandra Nikolaievna. On the right side it says: "Adina. December 6, 1836

Drawings of Alexandra Nikolaievna. I didn't know she was also a very talented artist!

Alexander I's room in Tsarskoe Selo. 1830

Another room in the palace. 1837

I always think that this is Anna Feodorovna. I'm not sure.  :-\

Countess Golovina also wrote about Elizabeth's relationship with Adam Czartoryski and Alexis Okhotnikov (although I haven't read the part about Okhotnikov). She wrote that Adam was certainly in love with Elizabeth and even tried to pursue her, but Elizabeth was indifferent to his affections. She understood that he was Alexander's best friend so she tried to be polite to him, and constantly had to put up with his company. The Countess also wrote that Elizabeth's first child, Maria, was not by Adam's. The rumours were certainly there to blacken her reputation.
