We all know of the teachers Pierre Gilliard (French), Sidney Gibbes (English), Petrov (Russian).

But where there more teachers to teach them? And who?

The Romanovs - The Way it Was by Zoya Belyakova published in 2000 by EGO publications (SPb).

Who can tell me more about this book?
Is it full of photo's of the Romanovs?

In which years did the IF visit the Duchy of Hesse?

And are there photo's of those events? Made in Hesse?

The Final Chapter / Saved by the Kaiser

If the IF was saved by Kaiser Wilhelm and were transported to Germany. What would be the first reaction of the IF when they saw their cousin.

I think there would be a little bit of sarcasme.

(There was a change to be saved by the Germans. I think if Kerensky could transport the family to Germany he had took this chance).

The Final Chapter / What did other Royals?
« on: December 22, 2004, 07:11:42 AM »
What did other Royals to save the IF? We know of King George and of Christian of Denmark a little and also that the Kaiser was offering help. But did other courts in Europe try to save their Royal colleagues, such like the king of Belgium, the Grand Duke of Luxembourg, the Queen of the Netherlands, the king of Italy, the king of Sweden, Norway?

Or what was their opion? Did they try to contact them?

Who can tell me more about Count Aspraskin?

He was the secretary of Alexandra!

I was wondering of Maria Pavlovna and Duke Heinrich (half-brother, married to Queen Wilhelmina of the Netherlands) of Mecklenburg-Schwerin had many contact with eachother?

Because I never see a picture of MP with her German relatives in general.

In Lifelong Passion, there are many letters of Elly to Nicky and vice versa, so far.

But are there no letters of Ella to her sisther Alix?

And are there letters of Ella to the IF in captivity?
Did Elly try, to make contact while she was in captivity?

Tsarevich Alexei Nicholaievich / christening of Alexei 1904
« on: November 20, 2004, 04:54:59 AM »
Of the Wedding of Nicholas and Alexandra there are no pictures taken, but were there pictures taken of the Christening of Alexei in 1904?

Or was that also against the rules of the Ortohodox church?

And who have pictures of the guest who attended the service? I know KR, and his daughter Tatiana went, also Maria Pavlovna jr., Irina, Marina, Elena, Johan, Gavril, Ella, Sandro etc, etc.

Who were the ladies in waiting of Alexandra. I know of the old Countness Hendrikova and later her younger daughter who went with her in captivity, baroness Buxhoeveden, Princess Naryskina, Mll Schneider.

But were there more ladies in waiting?

But did also other Romanovs made pictures during the Revolution/Captivity? Such like Mavra, Maria Pavlovna, Xenia, Olga of Greece, Olga A?

And who ever have seen such pictures?
