The Tudors / Re: Elizabeth I.
« on: September 01, 2010, 04:15:14 PM »

In this photo released by Historical Portraits, in London on Monday June 12, 2006 a centuries-old portrait of England's Queen Elizabeth I as a gangly teen is seen. The portrait will go up for sale Thursday for 800,000 pounds (US $1.5 million, euro 1.2 million). London art dealer Philip Mould discovered the work, attributing it as authentically Elizabethan rather than a contemporary copy, as was originally though. "Portrait of Queen Elizabeth I when a Princess" is one of only two contemporaneous portraits of the queen as a young woman. The other hangs in the private collection of the royal family. Mould's London art gallery acquired the piece at the end of last year, after it had been in a private collection in Spain for 50 years. (AP Photo/HO Historicalportraits.com)

I believe this one was the image, but it's deleted..

28th August 1943.One day which remained forever in the pages of history.Today is anniversary of Tsar Boris III's death!
Tsar Boris died suddenly after a meeting with Hitler and there have been speculations that he was actually poisoned by Hitler, who wanted a more obedient Bulgaria. So, because of His Majesty's insistence, Bulgarian soldiers did not fight in the War. Bulgaria had national ideals: the returning of Bulgarian territories, such as present-day Macedonia and part of the present-day Greek Macedonia. These territories were invaded by the Germans and were given to the Bulgarian ally for formal administration. But the King himself, Bulgarian intellectuals, the Orthodox Church and the general public resisted strongly Hitler's demand that all Bulgarian Jews be deported to the death camps in Poland. Bulgarian Jews were saved from the Holocaust and almost all of them regard the King as their savior.

I speak for myself and today i will go and burn one candle for our ruler- The Unique Tsar -Boris Turnovski!

There is nothing i can say against the show :)) For me costumes and everything was perfect, just i did not liked Joss Stone maybe because i saw her before in Nip/Tuck and i just could not imagine her in this role.. and i was right for myself...Catherine Howard was portrated very interesting ... Still i had no idea that in real life she was such spoilt young girl.

And Natalie's performance on Anne,was amazing.Bravo to her :)

You already know how much I love it.

You draw the Romanovs the most realistically. And beautifully.

I have to agree with Holly :) Wonderful work.I wonder is painting only your hobby or something more?
