Tsarevich Alexei Nicholaievich / Re: In Honnor of Alexei
« on: August 01, 2010, 10:41:08 AM »
Well, I really like Alexei's name! It's on my fave-names list ( ididn'tk that I had one, but it is ok xD).
In Brazil we have Alex, it's more common than Alexei.

As the original uses the Cyrillic alphabet, either spelling might be an option. İ was curious who uses which.  İ used to use Romanov but most of the Romanoff family members that İ know use Romanoff.  So İ have switched.  Now İ use Romanoff.

I guess it's kind of like Tsar or Czar. I've always used Tsar and Romanov, because I think it's the more Russian way, but it could be because that is the first way I learned.

Yeah! Here in Brazil most books Tsar is written Czar. I use both, lol.

Today I'm going to have rice, salad and steak. It's a common Brazilian Menu ^^'. We have beans sometimes.

I love it, I feel so home  :)
My grandmother makes a wonderful steak and black beans, sometimes with "farofa" :D  But my busy day sometimes makes me eat fast food instead =/   She also makes delicious pretzels and "tapioca". I wish I could cook.
Hehe!
Interesting, Constantinople!

True, TimM!

I'm not having any R dream on these days.
But I remember one that Alix was in a carriage and Olga too (1916). Then I looked to Olga and I remembered that I thought: WoW! She looks a lot like her mother.

But I think that Olga looks more like her father!! Lol.
