Thanks for posting that, Tasia...I love that photo of OT.
Tatiana in the back...she looks just stunning here.

I think Victoria seems likely. Maybe even the female diminuative of a male relative's name, if he was admired? I don't know.

It has cooled down a little (about 90 F currently) and was really nice and sunny.

YKYOW you get really excited when you find a lamp in a hotel bathroom that looks like one of the flowers off of OTMA's ceiling lamp.
I took a photo of it.

Here in KY it's about 100 degrees farenheit, sunny, and very, very humid.
I would have stayed in Italy just for the nice, moderate weather!

While you're on the subject, my fav Owl City song is Hello Seattle :D. Very calming!

But to GD Andrea: my sister and I were wearing white blouses and long, light-colored skirts, sort of like something OTMA were seen in late in their lives, and my brother had on an Alexei-like uniform, but it was dark blue or black instead of green or tan.

I had the most frightening dream last sister and I were with the IF in a big, old house, but we always heard their voices from other rooms through doors and never saw them. It was dark outside. A couple of guards were moving us further and further down into the old house (looked like the Ipatiev house, but much taller and it seemed to be made of only wood), and we'd stop in small rooms and sit on benches while waiting for the IF to come down the stairs behind us. Then we ended up in the basement of the house. My siblings (my little brother was there suddenly) and I sat on a bench (the IF was in another room) and a guard whipped out what looked like a fold-up machete (uggghhh) and a nun in the room whom I think might have been Ella started talking to us about how "this will not be easy..." and I said to the man, "But we're not the real--" and he sort of cut our legs with the machete. I was thinking, aren't they going to shoot us first? Then the dream ended. The three of us were wearing clothes of the era in the dream.

It was awful! And I felt real pain in my legs too. Don't you just hate when that happens?

Gorsehart, those are wonderful and absolutely adorable...especially the one of Alexei and Joy in the boat! I'm amazed!

That would be kind of shocking if they did have OTMA's names, or even similar!

That sounds fantastic. Have you tried them mixed with lemon juice and sugar? Mmmm...

Tonight I'm having grilled yellowfin tuna and rye bread. Probably vanilla soymilk to drink (that and water are all I ever drink!)

I like that one!

you compile a huge collection of old photos (mostly of OTMAA) to draw on your 10-hour plane ride (ohhh, yayyyy) because it's all you really want to do for that long...
but you bring "Nicholas and Alexandra" along too, just in case you want to re-read it. :D

I'm planning on doing these, anyway!
