Tonight we're having BBQ chicken and pasta salad. The chicken smells really good!

It's about 3:00 and according to my computer it's about 85 degrees and a little cloudy. But the sun is out so I'm not sure about the clouds or temp 'cause I haven't gone outside yet. Looks pretty nice out.

Tonight we had whatever, basic fend for yourself night (at least that's what we call it at my house) last night though me, my mom, and my brother went out to dinner with some really close friends and I had a cheese burger and waffle fries, fallowed with fried dough sticks and powdered sugar.

This area has been a quiet for awhile, maybe I can help breath some life back into it.

I personally have always liked the name Anastasia, so that's probably the name I would choose. But if I was a boy I would probably choose Alexei, I just really like that name and all them different ways you can spell it...or maybe Dimitri, I like the Russian nicknames you get out of it.

I forgot to add that this is before/excluding when he caught a cold and his nose started bleeding because of all of sneezing.

I'll post the first idea.

So this is a "what if?"/AU. Now as far as I know when Alexei visited his father at the front during WWI (was it only once or more than that? I've just recently started reading Thirteen Years at the Russian Court, by Pierre Gilliard I haven't finished it yet, I'm only at where Alexei and Pierre went)...as I was saying before my rambling interupted it, as far as I know Alexei never had any problems with his health (hemophilia or other wise), but what if something happened when Alexei and Pierre were visiting and Alexei was hurt causing another "attack" for lack of a better word, and what if it happened in front of a crowd of people, like when he and his father were visiting/reviewing the troops or whatever it was they did (it was something like that right? I can't quite remember.) What would they do? I mean they obviously can't send him back home, it would be to dangerous.

What do you think? Let me know. Smiley

So I've glanced threw here and I've seen plenty of actual fiction stories on the IF, but no area for just ideas. So basically if you have an idea for a story that you for some reason can't write it (or your just like me and have chronic writers block and also suffer from a severe case of laziness) then just post it here. If this isn't aloud or there is already a place for this that I overlooked, just let me know so it can be corrected.   Smiley

789  Discussions about the Imperial Family and European Royalty / Having Fun! / Re: What is the most craziest thing you done in public? on: June 17, 2010, 08:14:06 AM
Well....there was this one time a about a year or so ago, I think it was like two winters ago because I distinctly remember snow, when I was with my friend and her mom for something. And before they could drop me off at home we had to take her grandma to the doctors to get some x-rays or something like that. Me and my friend didn't want to go in so we just decided to stay and wait in the car and right before that we had stopped at McDonald's and we had already eaten out food, but her mom hadn't, so as her mom was getting out of the car she poked her head back in the car and said "Don't eat my food, here's two bags of candy enjoy yourselves" and then threw a bag of a couple of bags of candy at us (One of them was a completely full bag of gummy bears, and by the time her mom and grandma came back they were all gone). Once her mom was out of sight we had decided to turn on the car and move it to a different parking spot (we never actually did it though), we then proceded to eat the candy and be our normal goofy selves while dancing in our seats because we had the radio on. Then afterwards for some unimaginable reason we decided to take some of the gummy bears we had and see who could spit them out the window the farthest. Then one of the gummy bears ended up sticking to a near by car, so we decided to stop for a bit. And in light of that we became even sillier and started acting like people were spying on us so we had to hide so we pulled the hoods of our coats up to cover out faces as far as they could and then we sank down really low in our seats and continued to eat gummy bears and throw them at each other and make them do silly things. Then somehow we decided it would be a good idea who could throw the gummy bears and see who could make them stick to the other cars in the parking lot. So we threw them at the ones right next to us. They wouldn't stick so I got one stuck it in my mouth opened the door got out and threw it at the van in front of us...it stuck to the windshield. I then ran back and we proceded to hide everytime someone came towards our area in case they were the owners...none of them were. We laughed so hard we couldn't breath.

Another time before that about 4 or 5 years ago me and another friend got together at my house so we could work on a project, it also happened to be open house at our school, so we went with my mom and little brother. We didn't really have anything to do after we looked at all the stuff that they had set up for the book fair in the gym, so we were just walking around looking for people we knew and this somehow turned into us running up and down the stairs and threw the hallways saying hello (specifically that never hi) and waving at them while smile like crazy people, most of them were people we didn't even know.
790  Discussions about the Imperial Family and European Royalty / Nicholas II / Re: Reflections on Nicholas II - His Character Traits Good and Bad #2 on: June 15, 2010, 01:12:06 PM
So its been a while and is some what moved a way from this, but I would just like to make a comment about calling Alexei "baby" and the context it was used and what not. I read somewhere ( I can't quite remember were, but it was related somehow to the family) that in Russia family's would sometimes call the youngest member of their family baby because they were the baby's of the family (age wise that is). Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

There is a whole thread devoted to the issue and possible solutions here.

Thankyou for the link, I think I'm going to go with the suggestion that you posted there and wait until I have like around 10 posts before I try to PM someone again, maybe that will be the solution. *Crosses fingers* Thankyou again!

I thought it was pretty odd to, I belong to numerous different boards and that has never happened to me before, nothing has even come close. *Fake glares at you* Darn, I was hoping you'd be able to tell me how to fix it. *fake glaring is over with* Lol. What a nuisance that will be if it continues and I can't PM anyone.

Can you build a time machine so I may go back and review them, as there are just to many for me to remember or even try to figure out which ones would be crazier than the others.  Grin

Hello, I got your PM (yes my name is Amber, and thankyou for the welcome!), and I was going to reply but whenever I clicked the send button or whatever it was I got an error message that said the letters you typed did not match the ones in the picture. Now on the off chance that it did send or something and you end up with a bunch of Pm's from me all basically saying the same thing, then my apologies.
795  Discussions about the Imperial Family and European Royalty / Having Fun! / Re: If you had time-machine in which era would you return? on: June 15, 2010, 09:08:44 AM
I would probably have a very hard time choosing. For me it would all come down to choosing between England during the Tudor era when Anne Boleyn (Probably my favorite Queen) was still alive, Russia before the fall of the Romanov's, or maybe around Marie Antoinette life time in France, pretty much almost any where in Europe during the middle ages or so. I would like to be probably a lady in waiting, or anything else that a lady of good standing at that time period would be. Did I make any sense with that last sentence? I just got back from taking a really hard math exam and it kinda fried my brain a little bit.  Roll Eyes
