My Kindle is useful when travelling - no longer a need to worry about being on a train and running out of things to read! But it's not the same has having the books themselves.
Ann
I quote you here, Ann. For me, is wonderful to have more than a book without worrying about the weight in the lagguage, but handle a real book, smell it and turn the pages remains priceless. Alas, there are so many R-ov book out there, written in the 20s or so, which cost so much and are not available in the library in my country, but have a pdf version, i really needed a kindle.

Thank you, Sunny! Most of the information in my blog is from here, APF... No, the march you've found is not the same. There is no video or sound of the Leib-Erivan regiment's march, but in the site where I discovered this music there were said that Yegersky regiment used this march, too. So here is the video: http://video.mail.ru/mail/aksenenokoleg/2213/2390.html?autoplay=1 I understand you, I always try to find music which Romanovs and their friends were listening, but it is usually difficult)) Wonderul, Antonina. Thanks you so much!

I visited his website. "God Save the Tsar" blasting out of my speakers that I didn't realize were turned up almost knocked me out of my chair, lol. It didn't take me long to find and read the following... "The plot brings to the attention two mysteries together: The real fate of the youngest daughter of the last Russian Czar, still considered one of the most talked about mysteries of all times, (despite of the identification by the Russian government of some bones unburied in Ekaterinburg 1991, and the still “unbelievable” results of DNA tests performed in England in 1994)"Automatic disqualifier for me! "Some bones unburied", and "still unbelievable results of DNA tests"? Ugh, this again?! Not a "DNA was wrong" + "Survival story" again, please

o. Nikolai - since we began to discuss Boris Ravopulo here, welcome to a new thread about him, it may be interesting for you)) http://forum.alexanderpalace.org/index.php?topic=17281.0And just for fun... Here forum members were guessing for years about whom would Olga's Mitia be and how to identify him on photos, but in 1995 in "Komsomolskaya pravda" there was an article about their romance! There is nothing new in it now, but there is a very strange list of Olga's crushes: N.P. Sablin; Aleksandr Konstantinovich Shvedov, or Shurik, or AKSH; Pavel Alexandrovich Molokhovets, or "Sunny"; and then Shakhbagov. So, the autor thought Olga's "dear S" was Molokhovets! It's really interesting that russian newspapers dedicate space to this! I thought we were the only "fouls" (tenderly speaking of course!) quibbling about ON's crushes!
