I don't post very often, but I am in desperate of certain information, so I figured I'd turn to the experts on Russian historical non-fiction.
I am in desperate desperate need of a book or a website that contains information on Russian prisoners of war during WW1, specifically Russians taken prisoner by the Germans, where they were transported to in Germany and what camp conditions were like. I already have Nik Cornish's book and it does not contain the info that I need. I likewise have combed through FirstWorldWar.com with no success except for a passing mention of a Russian soldier in an excerpt from a British memoir.
I write historical fiction, and my current project has one of the hero's getting captured by the Germans in 1915. I've pretty much pegged my battle, I just can't find out what happens after that! Any help that can be offered is greatly appreciated.
