Ahahaha...

Don't feel bad, Emily. I probably would've thought the same.

It was a good laugh though. This has probably been my favorite thread ever.

LOL. Yes, it is very funny. I've been on the internet trying to find any sources of Anastasia being autistic, and couldn't find anything. Now I see why. Watch, someone making a new Anastasia site will add that bit of information, having seen the topic, but not reading the thread.  Tongue

Something that can help is having the captioning on. I always have it on, since I have trouble hearing. It also helps when I watch Frasier.  Wink

Just wanted to let you know, grandduchess_42, that I wasn't laughing at you but at the situation! It's the kind of mistake many of us make when we're younger . . . and then, years later, when we're older! So please don't let the mishearing of "artistic" keep you from asking questions.

haha Smiley
no its quite ok!

i know.. i'm not perfect, and everybody isn't.
But i'm glad i can make people laugh?
 haha...

so sorry once again

i'm glad people find it so amusing.

I'm glad you realize it isn't fair. It's also cruel and childish. One of my friends is the mom of a Down Syndrome child, and I'm sure she'd have something to say about such remarks as well.

I never say anything when people call each other and things "retarded," or other names like the "N" word or "gay." It amuses me when they walk around saying it, and everyone can see how close minded and rude they are.

Yeah, I agree. My cousin has Down Syndrome and my family hates it when people say those kinds of things. What's even worse is that my cousin knows what the word means and when he hears someone say it he looks really sad but he never says anything about it but I know it hurts his feelings. I know it's hard to stop saying stuff like that when it's a habit but it is a really cruel thing to say and I wish people wouldn't do it.

I agree, i hate it when people use words like that, epsecially when i see little kids using words like that becasue they werent taught any better. I also really hate it when people say that something is 'gay'
its sad  how phrases like that are used so freely now a days.

There is these biscuits in Australia which is called Gaiety biscuits and I say "Can I please have the gay biscuits."

Anyways  I wonder if Anastasia could of had ADHD?  She always seemed to fidgit and seemed restless.   People with this condition are intelligent but lack concentration as Gilliard once said she was bright but rather lazy, they can also be hyper and talk nonstop about silly things.  Before you go off (Like I'm sure someone would say.) I just want your ideas on it.

Hmmmm, I don't think so. It's typical of the youngest child in a family to be the loudest and the most 'crazy', and alot of the time, the most obstinante. They've got all the older siblings to compete with, and find being the loud and active is the way they get attention and a say in the family. You should see my youngest brother.

I seriously doubt Anastasia had ADD. I think the whole ADD thing is really dumb. Kids are like that sometimes but you don't need to put them on meds for it.

I agree, they seem to be wanting to put children on meds for the most petty things these days.
So what if a kid is high spirited and a little wild, that doesnt mean you drug them up with adderral or Ritalin...

Yeah, it seems most of the children put on drugs for ADHD don't need it. There's a difference between just being hyper and active and being in need of drugs for ADHD.

What do you mean? There's no such thing as a mild form of ADHD or ADD. If there was a mild form then the majority of all the children on earth would be on ritalin right now.

If you're intelligent but lack concentration, bright but lazy, and hyper and talk nonstop about silly things, then I should be on ritalin right now.
The whole thing is ridiculous.
