Forgive me if this has been posted before. I have found a good genealogy of Felix Yussupov here:

Dear Madame Narishkin,
would you have any advice on how to get in contact with countess Xenia Cheremetievna Sfiris, or her daughter Tatiana Sfiris- Giannakopoulos ? This would be for an interview for a Greek newspaper.
Thanks in advance for your attention to this post

I went through several spellings of her name (and through the simple version you are suggesting Lisa), but I didn't get any site, or e-mail address references, that would alllow me to get in contact with them.

The Greek white pages, list some results under the name of Mr Elias Sfiris (her husband), but none of those phone numbers in Athens is responding (Maybe I am looking for her, during the half of the year that she is living out of Greece)

I hope you find her! Is there any chance that her daughter has a child by now and we just haven't heard? If they are that private it is possible isn't it? I certainly would hate to see the line die out!

I am desparately looking for either Tatiana or her mother Ksenia too. I too found the phone numbers under Elias Sfiris. I need to talk to them about some copyright issues, but it seems to be impossible to find them. Gaev, let me know if you find them, please!

When contacting royal descendants who are now living as private citizens, I think it best to write as opposed to phoning or emailing. The later should be done only if it's okay with the descendant for you to contact them in that manner.

Another effective way is to be introduced by someone who already knows them. If anyone who posts or lurks here knows Mdme. Sfiris or her daughter, perhaps they will contact you.

It is best, however, to have low expectations in these situations. While contacting her may be important to you, it may (no offense intended!) not be to her, and/or she may want to maintain her privacy. You should be prepared to accept any outcome graciously.

This is especially true for descendants who don't employ assistants or private secretaries. They may want to help but may have their own lives to look out for at the time.

Good luck!

How long have you been looking for them Johnny?
I think that if I don't find them soon, I will abandon this research, as my article on Felix is due for publishing around mid February, and therefore I should finish it in within the next ten days!

I am actually in Berlin. I don't speak Greek, but I can read it. So I went over the Greek white pages on the internet and just like you tried different spellings of Sfiris, and finally found a few of them. But I didn't know what to do and haven't called those numbers yet. By the way, Elias Sfiris is Tatiana's father, not her husband. He is Ksenia's husband. Some board member told me to contact Bob Achison of our forum to inquire how to get in touch with the Yussoupovs because he published Felix's memoirs on this website and must have acquired the copyright from the family or something, which means he must know how to get in touch with them. Well, I sent Bob a couple emails, both instant message and private, but he never got back to me. It's been almost 10 days.

Very interesting! Well, 10 days may be quite a short time after all. Probably it's just us, who don't remember that anymore - so, let us wait a bit more.

I tried though to locate Bob Achison's website but I did n't make it.

Do u have a publishing house Johnny, or it's all about publishing parts of the book on the Internet?

and now, this could be missunderstood as an abuse of familiarity, but since you are in berlin, I'll take the risk and allow myself to ask something irrelevant to the rest of the conversation : Have you ever seen an Otar Ioseliani film, called "la chasse aux papillons"? Would you know whether one can find it in DVD in Germany?

I think you missunderstood me. I don't want to publish anything. It's Bob Achison who has published the Yussoupov book on our  (Alexander Palace) website. I just need to use parts of the book for a stage piece and I think I will need to get the permission of the copyright holder. Since Bob has already published the entire book on this website, I thought he might have either the copyright or know the way how to get it. If you want to contact him just click on his name on the upper-left corner of any of his postings. By the way, if you have private questions from me you can do the same thing with me.
Sorry to say that I don't know anything about that film or its director. What is it?

It is a french film, made in 1992. It is so strange, it gets almost poetic. The story is about the contemporary declin of the provincial aristocracy in France, that is getting older and older, it refuses to face the modern "modus vivendi" that surrounds them closer and closer and manages finally to impose a new way of thinking and new standards of beauty that have very little respect for the past concept of grace. I
t is an arthouse film, kind of allegorical also, that unfortunately is not sold over the Internet
