Does anyone know something about this palace? I had never heard anything of it before. It seems it was built for Alexander II.

A palace in Lisino was a hunting lodge of Emperor Alexander II, built by an architect N.L. Benois in the 1850s years. Alexander II liked hunting in the woods around Lisino and went there almost every winter since 1838 till 1880.

If I remember correctly a court artist Mihali Zichy (who was a watercolourist) painted a lot of scenes of Alexander II's  hunting in Lisino.
Emperors Alexander III and Nicholas II also visited Lisino from time to time.

After 1917 year the palace was neglected, the interiors were lost. Since 1924 the building has been used as a sort of hostel for students on their summer practical lessons.
