How interesting that Derevenko's boys had tricycles identical to the heir's. I wonder, as they grew older would they have been permitted to ride traditional two-wheel bicycles in his presence, or continued with the tricycles to de-emphasize Aleksei's physical limitations?

I will be in Russia in July of 2010, seems like a long time, but a long of plans go into this trip. I was wondering if it would be at least possible for me to film close up the windows, left or right wing from the outside try and give you idea of what inside would look like? I plan to film in great detail. Such as the corridors, staircases if possible, and other doors that lead into other rooms. Is if possible to shoot from the ballustrades in the back of the palace, from the old Semi-Circular room? I have a current photograph of it in a book I bought not to long ago and would want to know if anybody is interested in seening it.

Николай, первые 2 фото - Нижняя дача.
Женщина снята не на фоне Александровского дворца, а на фоне здания, изображенного  на предыдущих двух снимках (Германия?)

Дама похожа на эту, а это точно Царское Село Екатерининский парк...

На фото  у Императора на рукове тёмная повязка кажется, учавствует в военном смотре, скорее всего это Россия

This may be of the Mariinsky Palace in Kiev. Nicholas is walking in front with his mother Marie F. with Olga and Tatiana following. The boy with the straw hat is Vasily Alexandrovich, the son of GD Xenia. I have another of the similar grouping including GD Olga A. in her nurses uniform and GD Xenia. It was taken in 1916.
