I have always imagined that Nicholas would have liked The Beatles. I think that Frank Sinatra or Michael Buble would also be his favorites.

The Romanovs + Rap/Rnb = no. 

Those two things just do not go together in my opinion. 99% of anything said in that genre could have absolutely no relation at all to them. I couldn't even imagine Anastasia listening to Chris Brown. It is funny though. I can really only see them listening to classical-ish/choir/Russian folk stuff. I guess since that's what they listened to in real life. The only more contemporary music I could imagine them listening to would be The Beatles.

I think there are many more known in Europe, or at least, in France. We mostly listen american/english music where I live. Maybe it's a bit different in Czech Republic ?

No. Most of the songs in radio are English. Some are American (like Greenday) but only the most well-known.
