Can't wait!!!!

If you want to whet your appetite, the first chapter of The Lost Crown is printed in the very back of paperback editions of Miss Spitfire.

Thanks Lisa!

There are eight photos in the back of the book, but they're not likely to be new to NAOTMAA fans. They're from Beinicke, and a couple generous AP members.

Just one quick question, Sarushka:
I know that The Lost Crown takes place during the war years, but does it focus mainly on 1914 stuff (beginning of the war, etc), 1915-16 stuff (Nicholas losing power, etc), or the revolution, or all equally, or . . . ?

NO, you will not spoil the book or make me lose my excitement for answering!  :)

Awesome!!!!

1917-1918: pgs 83-417

Does the book end on page 417? I thought I had read somewhere that there was 448 . . . but you're the author, and that website could be wrong . . .  :)

The story itself ends on page 412, but the "extras" on the unnumbered pages at the front and back include:
cast of characters
Russian glossary
a note about OS/NS dates
epilogue
photos (6 pages)
author's note
recommended books, films, and sites for more information
bibliography
acknowledgements

I haven't actually counted those pages, but I'm sure they make up the difference between 412 and 448.

^ You are the Author? Amazing! I have been waiting for this book for a couple of months after I saw it on a review site! I am super excited. I do have one question about it?

It is a silly question. But how long does it take for your books to be paperback? My library is all paperback books in my history spot.  :-[ But this book, I cannot wait for, I will be getting it in hardback as soon as I can!! I just want to know, so I can snag a copy in paperback as well? :)

Thank you so much! I cannot wait.

But how long does it take for your books to be paperback?

There's no set schedule -- it depends a lot on sales. My last book took three years, but some books come out in paperback in as little as six months.

lol! I realized later that might  sound odd...I was  only surprised because it's a young adult book and I didn't know they came this long!  Greatly looking forward to it =)

Wow! You sure put a lot into the extras department - not that I'm criticizing - I think it's great!!!
