On 29. August the Wedding of Princess Alice and Prince Lukas of Auersperg took place at Andechs. I was there and you can find my pictures and a report here:

Anna Duchess in Bavaria gave birth to her first child:

Heinrich Maria Leopold Maximilian was born on 3 May 2010. He was 54 cm tall and his weight was 3850g.

The little boy is the 11th granddchild of Duke Max Emanuel and his wife Elizabeth, née Douglas.

HRH Duke Franz of Bavaria,Head of the House of Wittelsbach is ill.The 79 year old has been diagnosed with lymphatic cancer
and will undergo chemotherapy.As was announcement by the administration of the Royal House a month ago....
The Duke and his partner live at Nymphenburg Palace,where he also was born.
