GdssElla, could you tell me the occasion of that last crop of Eddy in the bowler hat? Loving those smoldering eyes!  Wink

It was actually from a larger photo published in a memorial issue to GV when he died. I'll try to dig out the whole picture. I remember that Eddy was misidentified though.

Miracle, of miracles, I actually found it easily! I must actually be getting organized. It's said that Missy is on the far right, but I'm not sure. George doesn't have a beard yet and yet did when Missy was still wearing her hair down. I think it could actually be Julie Stonor. George is next to Alexandra.

I don't think it is. The magazine said so but George had a beard when Missy was still wearing her hair down. I think it could be Juile Stonor.

They are fabulous! Much cheaper than some of the cards out there too. Maybe not as great in quality but I love them anyway and they're often bigger images. The memorial/wedding ones are the best but I've stumbled across photos in just regular issues. There was a great one of Ella in a 1902 magazine that I ordered for another reason--she wasn't even listed! That was serendipity.  Smiley

I thought too myself too when I posted it that 'MrsEddy is going to comment on his eyes'. I even thought of the word smoldering! See, I know you so well.  Cheesy

Eddy on his deathbed.

Not sure if this has been posted before. I know some people can get a little squirmish at pics like this, so I apologize for that.

This supposedly comes from Maud's personal albums, as pictured in a Norwegian book Kongstanken

This picture almost moved me to tears. Poor Eddy. I love him so much.

Could someone please repost a picture of Eddy's funeral. I cannot see it.
