Has anyone had a chance to read the new book yet?  Comments? Smiley

I'm getting annoyed... I work at a bookshop and every day I check the latest information on this book, and now it says the publicaton date was 15 January (yet our inventory says it's still not published Huh) and due to arrive in UK shops around 29 January! How long will I have to wait to read this book? I wonder why the dates keep being pushed back?

The last photo--of Bertie with his 2 sons on the steps, was taken at Beatrice & Henry's wedding in 1885.

::)And I love the close-up on Alexandra and her children.  The boys really looked cute in their sailor clothes.

Looks like it is by Angeli, isn't it ? (reminds me of his Hessian family portrait).
