IMO, the translation would be 'HIH GD Maria Nikolaevna is pleased to talk with a a wounded soldier, Tsarskoe Selo'. How would you translate 'izvolit' (deigned, pleased), or simply 'She is talking with a wounded soldier'. Yes, it must have been taken during the war, in 1915/6. Thanks a  lot, BlessOTMA!

it is part of a photo with her, Nicholas, and Tatiana? (i can't remember well) having a trip outdoor on a crimean mountain in 1912, if i can remember well.
I can't wait to see the fun caption!

They were all so beautiful.... Olga and Tatiana had a very regal kind of beauty and Anastasia was endearing with her less perfect looks, and Maria´s beauty was very earthy, very simple and honest. Looking into her face one thinks not of grand halls and gilded candleholders, one thinks about a river running throu meadows and wind singing in the trees.
