Cropped one from 1913. I like the way it turned out. I think it would be nice for drawing! (I like the details on her gown )

There is a clock that never strikes...
There is a cathedral that goes down and a lake that goes up...
There is a little carriage abandoned in the copse...
There is a troupe of little actors in costume...
And when you are hungry or thirsty, there is someone who drives you away.

The second picture is from one of Anna Vyrubova’s albums (it’s not included in the Beinecke’s collection, unfortunately), and it’s labeled by Anna as “Livadia, 1910” [although in my opinion it seems to have been taken in 1914].

since I wish I could be amazed by a pic as I used to be the first year I visited here for the first time...

I even think the picture was taken at Peterhof and not Livadia.

Indeed Grand Princess Shandroise, imo  it has to be at least 1914.

I believe taken around the same time. But not the same day as her stockings are different in Abby's photo. Perhaps Peterhof during the war.

good lord, you mean while in captivity? Makes sense , since Anastasia looks pretty grown up there ....gracefully even!  I guess that is the gun that was eventually taken from Alexis...Thanks for that info

In that case, this photo must have been taken prior to 3/16 June.

Indeed Sarushka -- I am agreed with you. One Russian web states the date -- it comes from one of the Little Pair's captivity albums. It was taken on the bridge, I suppose on the Children's Island at Tsarskoe.

The picture in question is in the giant  "Nicholas & Alexandra" exhibition book. It's on page #360, top left corner pic in the album. It states that the photo album belonged to Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolaevna with amateur photos of the family taken during the spring-summer 1917.

I agree with blessotma about the pic being taken outside the palace. I'm thinking the circular ramp behind the semi-circular hall. The big pair had their pic taken near the ramp with the railing wearing their regimental uniform.

Thank you that's just where I was thinking, but didn't know the areas name ..but you described it perfectly

Here's a regimental pic I have handy and one can see the railing is a match . Anastasia is very striking in that photo. One can see why some though she would grow into quite a  beauty.
