But in a movie they said that Tsarina Alexandra had sex with Rasputin, is this true (I really hope not!). :-/

Nope, not true, false, made up, not a shred of reality to that statement.

Robby, do you honestly believe everything you see in movies? Besides that, her religious convictions would not have allowed her. For Alexandra Rasputin was one thing, and one thing alone - a man whose prayers seemed to be answered by God as regards her son when he was ill. Not surprisingly she looked on him as a holy geronda (or elder). All the stories flying around about him she would have dismissed as slander. Righteous people often get slandered unfortunately, and she would have seen it as neither more nor less than that. Unfortunately in this case, where there was smoke, there was indeed fire. However, I don't think Rasputin was as bad as his detractors made him out to be. Obviously he was not as good as the Romanovs believed him to be. There is an adage that says people are somewhere in between what their enemies and their friends say about him, and I think this probably holds true with Rasputin.

Yeah, I think the picture is taken while he was recovering in Tioumen after the stabbing in the summer of 1914.

I heard that this attempt on Rasputin's life was on the same day that Archduke Franz Ferdinand & Sophie were assasinated in Serejevo.

I beg to differ. I don't believe Rasputin was a monster.  :( He was perhaps greedy, and lecherous, but he was not a monster.

"Rasputin is reputed to have cut locks of hair from the virgins with whom he had sex. When his house was pulled down in 1977, the authorities unearthed several boxes containing hair buried in the garden."
Some kind of fetish maybe? Quite scary and perverted if you ask me, but i suppose one look at the man and your questions would be answered.
He's awfully shaggy, expecially for that era, and seeing as though he resembled the devil himself, what was his charm on women?

Thank you.

That's exactly what I suspected. Someone on another forum said she wasn't a supporter of his and AV was, but I knew they both were. Here they all are together!  :D
