Okay, I was hesitant but I finally installed silverlight to view the pictures.  I haven't been through a lot of them, but right now I'm at these few pictures of people in snow all bundled up.  There's 4 children that I think are the Grand Duchesses, right?  I can't really tell since everything but their faces are covered.  Anyway, these series of pictures, almost everyone is smiling!  It makes me really happy to see that.

the photos number 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9,   10 were taken on the Polar Star.  At that time Polar Star was the official yacht of the Dowager Empress Marie, the Tsars' mother.

Thank you Douglas!

Finally I came across that Nicholas’ album.

My humble opinions:

I am simply amazed. Because many mysteries are solved to me relating dates and places. I have always wondered, about snow photos session with Kolya D. and GD Xenia’s sons ; when must it have been taken?  Now I figured out , that it is the winter of 1914/5.

Now about the another photo session, taken in very early of 1916, labeled to be on March 3rd  of 1916, from Prince Michael of Greece’s book. I thought , and many others , that it was taken during captivity in Tobolsk. Good thing is, we saw full version of Olga’s one, with either Kolya or Anastasia, not sure:

Now come Peterhof 1914 photos, where we discovered more rare photos of Alexei and Maria together, as well as fuller versions of  those: Cool

Elephant photos and Alexei reviewing gun machine from August of 1914  impressed me:

So, 1914 photos show pictures from Liavida ( nice sand photos, Nicholas with officers, nice girls shots in woods), Baranovichi, Peterhof,AP rooms and Ts. Selo surrounding, as well as Konstantsa visit at Romania in June of 1914, where we see photos of RF, Aleksei with Ileana and Nicolae and so on. Vyrubova appears frequently too.

In 1915 photos , I noticed beautiful Sevastopol sea - port and one Aleksei’s photo wtih Joy in grass at AP Park. Nicholas kept that one onto his study desk.

thanks Nena.

(thank you Lynn)

1916 photos are mainly from reviewing troops at Stavka/Mogilev, hospital visits, parades,  accompanied with Imperial Train photos with Nicholas and his generals, and with Aleksey too. Photos are incredible - such a treasure for a Romanovphile.

Among them , on sheet 144 (I think), I saw Count of Court Vladimir Nikolaevich Voeikov (called ‘Golii’ by Heir).

I am about to see Olga’s  1907 - 1908 album.  ;-)

Супер фото на заднем плане плотина Детского пруда ...
Great photo in the background of the Children's Pond Dam ...

Из первого фото видно что на втором тот же мост на заднем плане, а здание значит Александровский дворец ...
In the first photo you can see that the second the same bridge in the background, and the building is Alexander's palace ...

I believe it could be the same tree. It's certainly the same room.

I love this album. One thing I found rather sad, was there are several picture's of Alexei where you can see his knees are either swollen or bruised. Somehow (at least for me) it made the fact he had hemophilia more realistic to actually see a physical mark on him. I'm not sure if that made sense.

These are truly wonderful pictures. Thank you for posting the link. I enjoyed looking over them.

Oh, thank you, thank you all for these fabulous pictures of the Romanovs !!! I think they are really beautiful and moving and I love those of Tatiana !!

Unfortunately, like other members of the forum, I can not see these photos because downloading the software required is far too long for my pc is not powerful enough.

Also, I thank you all for your efforts, your kindness and your willingness to help those who are not able to discover all these new images.
