Thanks for amking me feel normal.  I feel really weird right now, because my mind is trying to get me off of my Romanov obsession, and my heart wants it to stay put.  i'm nothing without the Romanov obsession thing, and I can't believe my brain is trying to get me unhooked.  Nothing feels normal anymore.

You're not weird, you have just a strong passion about a very interesting chapter of history, and this is positive, so please keep your "obsession" about the Romanovs alive and don't change nothing in your personality, you are already O.K.  Wink

LOL! - I think that I'm obsessed too, I watched Rasputin - Dark Servant of Destiny 10 times already.  Wink

We should have a fan club. I don't know how many times I've seen that movie -- I stopped counting at 42.

Definitely we should have a fan club  Smiley, I love that movie, I will watch it again and again...
The only problem for me is that, unfortunately, here in Italy that movie was never released, so I can watch it only in English, and I can't understand the dialogues at 100%, a pity.

Movie is indeed good, it was showed for a twice time here (to my knowledge, but considering that it was made in 1996, it is highly possible that it was showed more than twice), subtitled version, I enjoyed watching.  ;-)

My favorite movies..

Romanovy
N & A
Rasputin

all for different reasons:
Romanovy = all recreations of Tobolsk and Ekaterinburg looked real, people looked like them.
N & A = Tells a political story, together with the tragedy of a boy and a doomed love. Simply great drama.
Rasputin = Great tv-movie, with good portrayals, and a dramatic, but good told, tale.

Again, I am here with some video's:p

Nicholas and Alexandra - I Was Born To Love You:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KG2097O3x9o

Rasputin - Lies:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LUo4wz6t1sE
(I find it a pity this one has so little rates Embarrassed)

Rasputin/N&A -  Tears of an Angel:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mt1KXn4EewE
(my personal favorite, simply really emotional)

I thought I might be allowed to post them, after all this is a movie-thread Wink
