Violetta,

These are the different people (better to say higher Officers, Generals and Functionaries) from the Nicholas II Svita, Court and closer to him. Btw, on the one photo we can see a lot of closer to N-II and powerfull people who played rather different, but serious roles in the Empire's end (Rasputin, Stavka and so on..).

Only the main: first from the left - Fligel Adjutant/Colonel Daragan, second - Major General of Svita/Head of HIM Office Duke Orlov, third - Minister of the Court/General Adjutant Count Fredericks, fifth - Fligel Adjutant/Colonel and Stab Officer of Court Drenteln, seventh - Court Doctor and Actual State Councillor Botkin

It looks like the Empress is with her sister Princess Irene in the carriage. They must have been visiting the Tsar during a hunt. Wonder if it was before Tsarevich Alexei's accident or during?

it is the Empress and her sister Irene. but i don`t know if it was before or after the "spala crisis". i think it might have been before cause such a dutiful mother as the empress would have never left her suffering boy for a hunting visit

the church in Belovezh. the picture was taken in September 2007.

the erection of the church was finished in 1895. the church was financed by the Romanov grand dukes and the Emperor Alexander III himself

some more pictures of belovezh this time of the railway station where imperial train arrived

the construction of the railway connection to belovezh started in 1894 before the last visit of alexander III. When Nikolay II decided to visit belovezh in 1897 construction works were over  and his family could travel by train. they also built a station situated not far from the palace. the station was named BELOVEZHA-DVORETS (BELOVEZHA-PALACE).  the next station appeared in 1903 but it was for trains csrrying loads whereas BELOVEZHA-DVORETS was for passengers. in his way belovezh became connected to warsaw and bialystok (the nearest big town).
both stations existed until 1990s.in the 1990s railway connections to belovwh were liquidated because the authorities thought that this connection simply didn`t pay.BELOVEZHA-DVORETS  doesn`t exist any more, the other station was in a dilapidated condition. a few years ago a family couple bought this dilapidated building and renovated it.now they have a nice restaurant here.net to the restaurant there is a hotel (luurious and epensive). in this restaurant you can eat dishes of russian cuisine.

you will the building rom both sides. i was in belovezh almost 3 years ago.it was a rainy and cold september day so there were no customers outside

Thanks violetta for the postings. Does the interior looks similar to its historical past or was it completely renovated?
