I came across this video on youtube, and was struck by the photo of Nicholas and Alexandra at 3:45 in this video:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6anuFRl3B-8&feature=related

Does anyone have it, that I can add it to my collection?

Thank you!  : )

I would guess as early as 1900's. There is something weird about the sky and woods, it looks like it is retouched, or even cropped. Anyone?

Yes, you're right, there is indeed something of weird in that photo, I have the impression that it is retouched in a bad manner.

It can be at Livadia?... Undecided

Yes, it was taken at Livadia. The picture was probably scanned from a photomontage in a catalogue to an exhibition on the occasion of Alexandra's 125th birthday and the 100th anniversary of the laying of the foundation stone of the Russian Chapel in Darmstadt. The top left-hand corner of the picture shows part of an 1898 studio portrait of Nicholas and Alexandra.

It appears that someone made a collage of photos, that corner was overlapped, and they wanted to use just that photo afterwards.  I could see a sliver the top of another photo at the bottom.

What I think looks strange is the top left part of the photo. It looks out of place...like it doesn't belong in the picture.

That's what I was talking about.  It's the corner of another photo, and someone just made a collage, but later cropped it off.

Stupid me.  Roll Eyes I thought you meant the bottom of the photo... I mixed up corner with bottom.

Well, actually I was answering the question about the corner and pointing out the bottom at the same time.  I don't think I really made it clear what I was talking about, so I am sorry for the misunderstanding.
