YKYOWTRW you're all dressed up in a suit, heels and pantyhose in 85-degree weather for a job interview and you think "Gee, I've probably got about as many clothes as Nicky wore on the Standart but at least I'm not wearing a corset and petticoats like Alix!

Oh, that's a good one and it's very true!  ;D

YKYOWTRW you're in the grocery store and you hear a man give a warbling whistle and you think "I wonder if that's how Nicky's whistle for Alex sounded!"

Nicky's whistle for Alix? What was that?

He'd whistle for her, a kind of bird whistle, and she'd blush red and go to him wherever he was (Nicholas and Alexandra, p.124) ... It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what that was all about!  ;) :o ;D

I have heard of secondary smoke.....but it seems  there is such a thing as secondary Romanov  obsession.  Yesterday my husband said ," At the train station I saw a man who looked like the cook at Ipatiev House " lol!

Hahaha, that's hilarious.

YKYOWTRW your bed is taken over by romanov books and you have to sleep on the floor, or at least of the side of it. As my bed is. I have a picture, if anyone wants to see it, email me because photobucket and imageshack hate me right now(:

YKYOWTRW you think about renaming your cats Nicky, Alix, and Aloysha. :D I've thought about it, but decided to name the chickens at our house instead. There's about thirty some free range chickens, and so far I've only named the mean old rooster I hit with a bowl of spaghetti Nikolasha. (after Nicholas Nikolaevich of course)

YKYOWTRW you write poetry about them at 4am. Its a classic, and I love to do it!

YKYOWTRW your thinking about calling your next boyfriend Pelly, in honor of them... ;]
and when you wonder what kind of emoticons Anastasia would use
and when you instantly awake from daydreaming when some one says anything that sounds remotely like Anastasia, Maria, Olga, Tatiana etc etc.
and when you pronounce your good friends name Mar-ee-ya and she understands what your saying
and when you drink Dr. Pepper you instantly think of the Romanovs via Dr. Botkin, or Dr. Derevenko :D
and when you start comparing you grandpa's old photos with Romanov ones!
(I do all of this.... XD )

YKYOWTR when you see a baby in the store and think "Wow she has a big head! And she looks EXACTLY like Olga in the 1896 pic with NA and QV!"

Not the Romanovs in particular, but you know you're obsessed with history when you're ringing up items on the cash register and you match totals with historical events of that year. This happens to me at work, for example: $18.46...Princess Helena/Christian's birth year!

Wow, Talya, is there anything that you don't do?

YKYOWTRW you nearly cry with delight if their name is mentioned in a book or movie (NAOTMAA)
-You would rather look at a Romanov book than watch Disney shows with your little sister and brothers ;)
-You give your family Romanov nicknames :)
