« on: November 27, 2009, 02:57:52 PM »

Aloha all!

Does anyone have any recommendations for new or used bookstores in Paris, France for Romanov-related material?

I appreciate any and all answers!

The last time I was in Paris, about 18 months ago, Shakespeare & Co had a piano in the shop and were encouraging shoppers to play a tune!  It's a wonderful shop.I can recommend a couple of lovely (not expensive) restaurants in the locality if you need any tips!

Aloha all!

I'm leaving in 8 days for Paris, France (hooray!!!!) - never having been there - I am interested to see if there are any good bookstores (in either French or English) that offer a particularly
good selection of Romanov related material?

I'm definitely hitting Shakespeare and Co., and there is one other English language bookstore (new and used) that I have written down as well.....name escaping me (mind has already gone on holiday!).

Any last minute suggestions for places tied to Romanovs in Paris or the aforementioned book stores?  It seems that Felix's gravesite is outside of Paris, so probably won't be able to make it to that one.....

Thank you for any replies....I know I asked this awhile ago....but trying to update things a little!
