Pavlovsk. New museum.

The Pavlovsk State Museum-Reserve is going to open The Museum of Costume in the middle of the next year. The new museum will stand on the ground-floor of the north wing of The Pavlovsk Palace. The visitors will see Emperors`s and Empresses`s costumes (including Empress Alexandra`s clothes).

Unpublished papers (about The Alexander Palace and others), the memoirs about 1920-1930 (The description of the interiors of The Lower Dacha, The Farm Palace...), the letters (1944) with description of the contry residences.

The museum "Tsarskoe Selo" is planning to start the restoration of the pavilion the Turkish Bath in the Catherine park. The Turkish Bath (http://eng.tzar.ru/catherine_park/landscape/turkish_bath) was built by architect Ippolito Monighetti in 1850-1852. The pavilion was destroyed during WWII.
