Good news!

White Tower – first restored pavilion in the Alexander Park! All six floors are open for visitors! And the roof! (White Tower is the highest building at Tsarskoe Selo - 38 meters.

Tsarskoe Selo Museum opened Mountain Hall, Large Library and Small Library without restoration. New open halls in the Alexander Palace connect the central halls and the rooms of Nicholas and Alexandra.

Night of Museums at Alexander Palace!

On May 18th, 2013, Tsarskoye Selo will join St. Petersburg’s Night of Museums.

Alexander Palace. Living Details programme:

First time on display: Prints of the 48 autochrome plates of the palace in 1917, the shots taken right after the Tsar’s family left for exile.

Bio of the art historian George Loukomski, in 1917-18 the Head of the Art Commission that worked on turning the Tsarskoye Selo palaces into the museums.

History of the Palace Library from Catherine II to Nicholas II, with the marginal notes in books personally hand-written by Catherine, Alexander I and other crowned owners of the collection.

Entry hours: 18.00–23.00, Admission: Rub 200
