Can anybody tell me if there were any Circassian nobles? I´m Circassian and it would be interesting.

Thanks!

If you mean whether there was Circassian/Adyghe nobility recognised in Russian Empire - yes, it did exist. The princely family of Bekovich-Cherkassky was well known and respected, many noble families of Adyghe tribes were routinely sending their sons to serve in the emperor's personal convoy that was made up completely of Caucasian mountaineer nobles.

Mother of Gwaschemasch'e, Nedaxe Seteney - Circassian princess kidnapped and sold in 1865 to the harem of the Abdülaziz I. During the sea voyage from Circassia to Istanbul, Nedaxe's sister, Gwasche was lost overboard, perhaps jumping to commit suicide.

I think one point of the collapse is the confusing family situation. If you look  how many wives the Sultans had, it´s unbelievable.

Actually, Rani, the Sultans had only 2 or maybe 3 wives at a time. Only one became  "Valide", the mother of the heir. However, the harem was stocked with many concubines,  who normally rarely even saw the Sultan! In the Ottoman days, they were  on duty, so to speak for 2 or 3 years, then pensioned off with their own  house and income.  The harem was not quite the den of depravity that Hollywood made it out to be. In the  last reigns,  the older ones,, who did not want to leave were "retired to the old palace of Topkapi. The  current ones were  basically  "ladies maids" to the Valide and the official wives.
