Adms and mods are terrible busy. I ve send a couple of mesages about repeated topics or topics  in wront section and i still dont recieve a reply. You just got to be patient  and wait ;-)

I did kind of get your humour in your post Primrose....I just wasn't sure if others would....hence my rather wordy response!

I totally agree with you about having some willing 'chars' here who could tidy up threads as assistants to Mods....it would make life so much easier for them! Last year FA increased the amount of Mods noticeably, which I think was initially at least, specifically aimed at dealing the groaning masses that many threads had become! The Mods worked tirelessly for what seemed like months and the difference after they tackled there allocated threads was wonderful! I for one would quite happily spend some time each week sweeping away the 'Nice piccie', 'I love that photo thanks!', 'Indeed' and the like. Posts of such a polite nature can and should IMHO be reserved for PMs only unless the poster has something to contribute to threads as well It was discussed at length before. Personally I think if such posts were regularly deleted from threads and such posts were then automatically deducted from said poster's tally it would go some way to combat this polluting issue and go some way to solving the tally issue and its suspected link to rank title graduation!

I have no qualms with politeness but it can and should in the instance of 'Thanks isn't she prettier than X' 'Indeed I know what you mean.' and the like should be sent via PM and not the threads! Otherwise they get deleted and knocked off the culprit's tally! I am sure it would be effective after a while and would eventually lead to a change in general attitudes here!

Whoops, that's me.  :-[  I did get your PM about moving a certain thread and I was chewing it over wondering whether moving it would cause to be a kerfluffle or if it would get lost in the sub-forum recommended as it's not frequented as much as the one it's in.

Carolath Habsburg:
The topic has not so much movement and it isnt that relevant since they re just pictures (mostly of them repeated in other topics) so its up to you. Anyway, thanks for the reply!!

Actually during "the spring cleaning" most of the numerous "Ah,oh,thanks you, cutie piccie" and such stuff had been cleaned out of many topics. I remember we agreed to leave only one "thank you" after any photo-post and others were destined to deleting. It was very actual for OTMA threads, though as well for many others.
So, we are on guard! ; )
