Tatiana is so tiny there, she looks just a year old! That photo so reminds me of the famous one of Tatiana and Uncle Ernie on the Standart much later....same happy expression on thier  faces,  but then it's Uncle Ernie doing the hugging . The big pair were close to his little girl,  Ella, who died so tragically ....a special bond.

Yep. All the girls except Olga had bangs as toddlers.

Larri, thanks for the photo.

Friendly five cents;). Man sitting with Tatiana is a famous Russian Naval officer, intelligent man with difficult destiny and friend to Kolchak, Rear Admiral (1917) Sergei Nicholaevich Timirev (1875-1932). He was a senior Standart officer before Sablin (from 1907 till 1910).

Btw, maybe you have this photo in a more higher resolution?

Thank you very much.

Btw, are you sure it was taken in 1908? Judging by the Timirev's epaulets (I can see two lines Captain level instead of one for lower officers), it must be taken not early than 1910. He was promoted to 2nd Rank Captain in April of 1910.

You're welcome=)
The photograph is from Olga Nikolaevna's 1907-1908 album, so I supose it was taken between those years. It is from the russian state archives. Here you have the link:

The photograph is on the 6th page =)
