The goal on here is to reveal something that you would not generally admiit to people you know well.  I will start
My secret is that I enjoy Anais Nin's writing.  My godmother talked about her a lot.  she was my godmother's godmother.

OK. My favorite "junk food TV" program, the one I enjoy watching but hate to admit it to anyone, is "Judge Judy"....

Me too.  It's not something I admit to my closest friends either.

When I'm exceptionally down in the dumps (thankfully rarely) or every single thing seems to be going wrong (frequently), I shut everything else out, head to my bedroom (my retreat) and read either Enid Blyton books (!), C.S. Lewis or Laura Ingalls Wilder...with a few of my favourite snacks as accompaniment.  If the phone is ringing or someone's at the door, it is ignored.  If I feel like watching something during these times, it will be "Bewitched" or "Lost In Space".  I go retro and regress into childhood again!  Wish I was back in those days....

Grace, I retreat as well! My bedroom and my books are a lot more comfy than 3 teenage sons berating me for what they think is best. I take comfort food as well. Wink
I think I might do it now. Wink

Me? I head to my bedroom, snuggle under my covers, and read a very childish book. Especially when I stub or hit or pretty much hurt any thing really bad! I then procced to go to my closet, and dig out my secret stash of candy!

Bit of a Trekkie here and love sci-fi. Keeps me occupied for hours watching on TV. But worst of all I'm told I'm a bit of a Dr Who expert as I seem to have collected loads of silly facts down the years. There, said it! : )
