Tonight it's steak (which I don't eat) and ahi tuna steaks with soy sauce (oh yeah)
There is a clock that never strikes...
There is a cathedral that goes down and a lake that goes up...
There is a little carriage abandoned in the copse...
There is a troupe of little actors in costume...
And when you are hungry or thirsty, there is someone who drives you away.

Um, probably something quick to make, like a pizza, I feel kind of embarrassed putting that, because everyone else (with the exception of Leticia lol) is eating all these exotic-sounding foods!
Psst! I too have days with just pizza, pasta or sandwhiches for the dinner, if that revelation makes you feel better!
I think some of us only chime in here when we have a menu we are proud to share :-) Or something that half-way measures up to imperial standards. Like me tonight:

Au menu ce soir:
Saumon cuit au four aux Úpices et oignon. Avec carotte et rutabaga crues.
Pour le dessert pouding au chocolat avec sauce Ó la vanille.

=
On the menu tonight:
Salmon baked with spices and onion. With raw carrot and rutabaga.
For dessert, chocolate pudding with vanilla sauce.

Haha, yes it does make me feel better! :) What I think is great on this forum is that, IMO, we fit together just like a family. We come from all over the world, evidently eat lots of varieties of food (although sometimes have to resort to pizza!), have all different tastes and like things that other members don't, but we are united in our love for the Romanovs!

We had hokkien noodles and kebabs AGAIN!
We had that LAST week. I'm sick of trying to think what to feed the vulchers every night. Sometimes it's such a chore.
Yes I'm having a bad day.

Wow, that's almost exactly what I had with my boyfriend and my sister for dinner last night! We had ahi tuna tacos (I know... it sounds weird, but they are amazing) and as side-dishes, home-made sweet patato fries and salad. We're making churros for desert tonight.

Churros are a pastry that are sometimes referred to as "Spanish Doughnuts". They are made of fried dough that is usually fried until they are crispy and then sprinkled with sugar.
I have family in Peru, so my sister and I make them the way they are made there: long, wide and filled with either chocolate, vanilla or dulce de leche (milk caramel). People usually eat them for breakfast with thick hot chocolate, but we eat 'em for desert. They are so fattening, but sooooo good!

Oh gosh...I've had churros once of twice in the past and they're gooooood...only the cinnamon kind though. I've never heard of them filled with chocolate or vanilla though. What a fantastic idea :P

Tonight I had some pasta with marinara sauce and grilled chicken...it was one of those healthy frozen things but was pretty good.

I have been wanting to make churros and try them out except my grandmother does not like deep frying ANYTHING so she keeps not letting me!
