Stamps have been issued featuring the Romanovs.  Thought I would share some that I have.
Would love to see any others...

Any stamp dealer, ebay especially, will have these. You can see by the prices on the older ones, they are not very costly.
The Marshall Islands are rather odd, as I do not know why they issued them nor how I aquired them.

It is incomprehensible that the Marshall Islands would bother printing an issue depicting Nikolai II. Robert, do you have the publicity data that normally accompanies the stamps? It may explain their reasoning.

I've noticed that the Marshall Islands have issued stamps on many, many unexpected subjects over the years!

Sure, Margarita-
I will try to scan the little "booklet" if I can with dis-assembling it.
Was not even sure where or what the Marshall Island are, except for war stories.

Thanks for trying Robert. Very curious indeed.

The Marshall Islands lie in the southern hemishere of the Pacific ocean, several hrs from Australia.

Later today I will try to post a few more images of the recent Romanov issues that are now an ongoing annual series that presented Pavel I and Ekaterina II. From memory I think it was Alexander II who had the honor last year.

Nice idea Robert to introduce Russian philately here.  Smiley I am actually a member of a few International Russian Philatelic Societies.

Margarita.

The Rossica Society of Russian Philately although based in the U.S. it has a broad international profile, including members from Russia, Australia, New Zealand and England.

The link below has a membership page. They issue 2 journals each year + CD-ROM + regular e-letters. The site also provides a forum.

See: http://www.rossica.org/

When in England you might like to join the British Society of Russian Philately:
