You mean "Aunty" ? Yes I could believe that. The second photo have a man and woman near Missy's bed. Was she sick or in hospital ? When was this taken...

Thanks so much for these previously unseen photographs, although from time I followed the iconography of Maria I had never seen before.

She was a very pretty girl. She attracted many beaus before and after her marriage...

She is wearing the pearls her inherited from her mother, the Dowager Duchess of Coburg. Instead of wearing them as a six strong coiled around her neck, she turned it into a one long satoir that was more fashionable in the 30's.

I just read that her only physical defect was that she had fat legs...by the way how tall was she?   

Both Elisabetta & Mignon appeared to have fat legs too...
