It is for sure Duchess Maria Amalia of Parma...

Look at her jewels on this picture(necklace and earrings) and it's also painted in similiar period...

I think it is indeed Maria Amalia of Parma in her mid or late 30s; In addition to the above, the longish face, eyes, nose and lips are also similar to the portraits of some of her siblings later on...

Similar face and earrings again like in the portrait I have quoted...and tiara similar(just could be reverted) to the one Rani has posted above...

Could this also be Maria Amalia?

It is indeed similar to other portraits of Maria Amalia.... also the gown worn.

Any clue/identification as to when it was painted?

Just "18th century"...but that is obvious!Even the author is unknown :-( that's why I asked...her face, earrings and tiara reminded me of Maria Amalia, but I could be wrong!

Thank you.  There doesn't seem to be a lot of royals in the 18th century who could've resembled her (except her siblings and even then, one can always distinguish pne from the other).... I do think it is Maria Amalia in her mid or late 30s. Smiley

Does someone know who this lady is?
I think she belongs to the family of Bourbon Two Sicilies.

I think  that's Countess Maria Carolina de Montemolin (1820-61), daughter of King Francesco I of Two Sicilies and spouse of Carlist pretender Don Carlos de Bourbon.

Thank you both!

I have another picture of Maria Carolina correctly identified, but she looked completely different, maybe because she had another hairdo...
