I found this two on an album of Picasa. The first one was rare for me, but I had the second one in a really tiny size and bad quality:

Olga, Alexei and Ernst of Hesse 1912:

Maria and Anastasia 1910-1911:

When do you think the second one was taken? I go for 1911 but I'm not really sure.

Beautiful picture Princess Shandroise! Cheesy It's so nice to see a picture of Olga A with Nicolas and OTMA

Larri those pictures are stunning! I'm so happy to see the second one in such a good quality! The second photo, if I'm not mistaken, is now at the Livadia palace in OTMA's classroom. It's sweet to see Olga in the first picture too Smiley she looks so happy

Thank you both for posting such rare pictures!

These two are new to me, but it is a pity they have such a big watermark =(

Nicholas and Alix in September 1917 in Tobolsk:

Maria and Anastasia in 1915 (photograph apparently coloured by Anastasia):

The first one is amazing, well done, we now realize that the weather in early fall of 1917 was warm. Did you get the source on date from the site? But I think that the second one was taken in August (26th) of 1916, during MA's visit to a Lazaret, you know two other photos of MA, from that day, if I recall correct, they wore the same dresses?. ;-) Or it is 1915? Great findings, anyway, you spent your time, will and energy to find them.

Larri, do you have a link to the Tips... Editorial archive? I'd like to browse their collection.

Sarushka, here is the link: http://www.tipsimages.it/

The fact is that all the "rare" pictures or the ones that come from OTMA's albums come from "Rue des archives" a french photo agency that, I think, has quite new pictures of the IF. But to see the pictures you have to make an account and I don't really know how it goes... =S

Re: the top photo at reply 395.  Wonderful! Ernie was a great uncle to OTMAA and it always shows in photos. The mutual love is unmistakable.
