I just saw the first one recently on some thread ...but the 2nd one was an eBay photo posted on the Maria board. AP member ,Nicolá De Valerón, identified the man behind TN  as , Senior Lieutenant, Nicholay Dmitrievich Demenkov . The photo was taken at Tsarskoe Selo lazaret. 1916. herer it is in full



 No wonder Marie signed letters " Mrs. Demenkov" ...he's was amazingly good looking!  lol!

OK thank you. I thought that the damaged aspect of the picture could make it "rare" Wink

Yup, those. Ashanti posted the link to the albums a long ago here and those pictures are spreaded all over the forum, most of them already beautifully colorized by some of our artist :-D

I seem to remember there already being a "Rare Pictures X" thread that was at least 10 pages long...Maybe I'm mistaken... Huh

It seems that I was not careful when making this new thread then. If that thread already exist, I would kindly please one of the mods to merge all these posts to the already existing thread.

It might be simpler to rename this thread "Rare Pictures XI." (I'm not a mod on this board, so I can't do it.)

Aw.. I just discovered the state archive site (and I didn't find it here, either!)  They were all pictures I never saw before, and I was happy to see "new" ones of little Elisabeth!
