there is a clip on youtube about the new wonder woman movie which occurs during WW I. WW I guys impressed with the WW I details.

on youtube I found the movie "Rasputin and the Empress" with a Russian voice over. I had never seen the movie before and could only make out about half of what was said. Not very historically accurate too put it mildly. I also found a commentary of the movie that was full of foul language by people whose knowledge of Russian history is rather limited too put it mildly.

World War I?  I always associated Wonder Woman with World War II, during which her comic started.

There is a movie titled Catherine The Great in the works. Barbra Streisand is directing it so it may not be about the Empress

There is a Russian movie that has recently come out called "Bala'lion"  on the 1sr Russian Women's Battalion of Death. It is based the units commanders Maria Bothkareva's memoirs. Parts may been seen on youtube.

documentary "The Last Days of Rasputin" is on youtube. It has him finished off by a British agent with a 455 Webley shot to the head.

Not a movie but a US documentary On the Firing Line with the Germans made in 1915. It has recently been recovered and restored It shows Germany the home front and the war in the east in 1915. It has film clips of Kaiser Wilhelm II and family. Has some battle scenes that look staged. Still it is worth viewing. I did have problems with it pausing almost every minute and it finally stopped for good when I was most of the way through. To see it go to:

Called Crimson Snow.

Would love to hear thoughts on it. It's fiction. Yet, based on real events. Have at it. http://nebula.wsimg.com/fe3d94eccbd3c9a3af7d69d08b08fd11?AccessKeyId=70264884B0E72FF13B89&disposition=0&alloworigin=1

I think George Clooney would make an ideal Protopopov.

I have read this before on this site and found a lot wrong with it as for Prootpopov G Cloony would not do Protopopov was a rather short man who was inept possibly insane. A comedic actor would be a better choice to play him.

If by, Rasputin: The Mad Monk, you're talking about the 1966 movie, starring Christopher Lee, there is a thread for that movie here:
