Thank you Ed... (Gosh, Ed "Boyar", congrats). Discussion? Oh, please no. I might tie myself in knots discussing that profile image, and come away looking rather foolish. I hope it doesn't rattle anybodys cage too much. :)

I can tell that you're all quietly (very quietly) impressed by my colouring, and that you're secretly screaming out for more. So...

Here's the nice family portrait from 1913. Sure, we've all seen it a thousand times before, but not quite, because this is a composite of three (different quality) images, plus a bit drawn in at the bottom. And a yellow rose. Cunningly clever huh? I knew you'd think so ;)

On the strength of this picture, can we now dispense with the formalities and sort of make me a four-star Velikye Knyaz right away? Or at least present me with a fitting cyber medal... the order of St Valdimir would do quite nicely, I feel. :))

I'm not sure what I've seen more times...this photograph or my own face in the mirror, but you put a nice spin on it.

Four stars eh? I needed like 350-360 ACTUAL posts before I got rewarded with my "Boyar" certification so you're going to have a tough time convincing me there pal! :-)

I see your point. Perhaps four stars on the strength of one pretty picture was asking for too much in these dark times of austerity. Drat.

Once upon a time you only had to salute the Tsar and kiss the Tsarina's hand and you got given a medal, it seems to me. I hope Tsar Bob and Tsarina Rob get to notice me soon. um... Just kidding... I swear! ) *Hides under table*

As a special treat for the weekend, Nursey is letting me post another. "Hooray" I hear you all cry. :(

This is another familiar one with a bit added each side to widen the picture. I think it's fairly accurate 'cos I used three original photos to make it and then guesstimated the missing bits.
