No way, she s way too skinny and her face its too sweet  to be Alexandra in some movie. Uma Thurman is the woman, indeed.

If you look at how she looked in Age of Innocence and compare to those of Alix before her marriage to bertie, you will see the resemblence.

Hm,...i have the DVD of that movie and certainly i cant see the resemblance at all, but well, as always, all that is in the eye of the beholder. I think she looks a lot like Uma and Uma would do an excellent job as Alexandra, in special in her married days.

Uma's beauty had since fade out. Need a younger girl to play the young Alix. Too bad most people thought Alexandra was feather-brained and do not deserve a movie...

Uma's beauty had since fade out.

I have to agree on this. She has lost the freshness of her face.

She was like a riped peach in "Dangerious Liasions". She is still pretty in the recent role as Medusa, but the freshness is gone.

Puty that all the actresses i d liike to see on screen as royals (Meryl Streep as Ella, Uma as Alexandra) are "Too old" to portray them young. But still Uma can portrait a mature Alexandra. MAggie Smith did an awesome jog in 2all the king`s men"
