That is definitely not Alexandrine. If I remember correctly the only one image of her  by Tuxen was in the large painting "Christian X visiting Greenland.1921" :-\

Alexandrine´s mother was more unpopular than ever after the Cannes wedding of her daughter as the people of Schwerin thought they had been deprived of a great social event, something that didn´t happen too often in Schwerin.

Her son's wedding, to Alexandra Cumberland, didn't take place in Schwerin either, did it? Her younger daughter, Cecile, was married in Berlin so they were deprived there as well--though that wasn't Anastasia's fault.

Maybe the portrait is of another Alexandrine then the Queen? It is definetely not Alexandrine Mecklenburg-Schwerin.

The wedding of Grand Duke Friedrich Franz and Princess Alexandra took place in Gmunden. So none of the three siblings had their weeding in Schwerin.

Great photos Kmerov! I love seeing ones of Alexandrine and her Schwerin family.

I think in the last photo of Alexandrine, you can see a portrait of either EVII or Waldemar and one of Queen Maud (full-length).

Here's a wedding one:

Princess Olga of Cumberland, Helen of Baden, Princess Cecile of Mecklenberg-Schwerin, Mademoiselle Scalon , Alexandrine & Christian, Princess Thyra of Denmark, Princess Alexandra of Cumberland , Princess Marie Louise of Cumberland, Princess Curoussoff

Whos Princess Curoussoff?

brnbg had posted this pic (and was good enough to include many blow-ups of individual sections) while svetabel added the identifications

Princess Yurusova (Yurusoff) was a lady-in-waiting of GDss Maria Pavlovna if I remember correctly.

Whos Princess Curoussoff?

Princess Yurusova (Yurusoff) was a lady-in-waiting of GDss Maria Pavlovna if I remember correctly.
The Princes OUROUSOFF shared the same  descent from Tartar Khans & the prophet Mohammed as their distant cousins the YOUSSOUPOFFS....In the 1930's a Princess Ourousoff lived in exile in Brussels on a pension from her nephew Nicolas de Basily.
