Indeed. I think that Giovanna and Umberto, who had similar features, more like their father than their mother. Those who most resembled Helen, as Jolanda and Maria, had the features for less.

Does this photo come form that album too?
some of the photos you posted are very rare even for me (I live in Italy).
could the tall woman between Mafalda and Giovanna be Princess Prascovia Cheremeteff?

btw it was taken in Sant'Anna di Valdieri too.
